Now accepting applications for the Living Design Lab
Is this you?
You can see what is happening—in our communities, institutions, the living world.
And you see what could be.
In fact, you have a vision for your role in that shift.
something you really want to see come to life.
You can almost see it—
alive with people and possibility.
A venture taking form.
A community organizing around something that matters.
An organization working the way you always knew it could.
A project that has lived in notebooks and conversations becoming real.
You’ve thought about it. Talked about it. Even made plans.
But somehow it just never happens.
Not enough time. Not enough money. Not enough help. You need the right people. Someone else has to say yes. Something you don’t control has to change first.
Regulations. Institutions. Personalities. Histories. Resources. Politics. Timing.
Ten other things have to happen first.
It feels like pushing a boulder uphill.
And it breaks your heart a little.
Life has been there.
For four billion years, life has encountered challenges to its purpose.
Yet each of us is here today––individuals of every species. The odds of that are infinitesimally unlikely.
Yet here we are.
Life doesn’t have a master plan.
It just finds possibilities.
New relationships. New capacities.
Some small change that changed everything that came after.
That’s the premise of Living Design.
Small acts make big ripples.
Life finds a way.
Now imagine…
Five years from now, you’re doing the work you want to be doing.
The things you spend your days on matter deeply to you. Your work is connected to the change you want to see in the world—not something you squeeze in around the edges of your life.
And twenty years from now?
Something is genuinely different because of you.
Your small acts have created ripples that have grown into something you could never have predicted.
People doing things they couldn’t before. Relationships that didn’t exist. Resources that flow.
And your own life—
Your work. Your values. Relationships and creativity. The place you live. The way you spend your time.
All of it one thing.
Aligned.
The archer, the arrow, the target.
The surfer and the wave.
One thing.
So how did you get there?
What was the first step?
